　　故事描述一名从越战生还返家的军人(提姆·罗宾斯)，发现自己出现了精神问题的后遗症，常出现被追杀的幻觉，每当生死交关时刻，他会在另一个时空活回来，回想着之前发生的噩梦遭遇，然而随即他又被现实世界中唤醒，所以他仿佛活在两个世界般，难以确定孰真孰假？或许两者都是假的？你根本没醒来过？
